• Go to https://www.gmail.com

• Click on add new account / create a new account whichever one

• Select "for my child"

• Follow the screen prompt to add your information

• When it asks for a mobile number,  simply click on "SKIP"

 

• Finally, you will be redirected to the privacy policy page, accept all and you will be logged into your inbox without adding a mobile number.

NOTE Adding a mobile number to your google account is very vital because you shall be using it to retrieve your account when compromised or hacked.
